Shannon is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in integrative psychotherapy. She is the founder of Floresta, a consciousness-informed mental health practice and retreat company designed to support deep psychological and transpersonal work. Shannon has facilitated thousands of ketamine-assisted therapy sessions and brings over 15 years of experience across psychotherapy, coaching, meditation, somatic work, and integrative modalities.

Her work is rooted in a depth-oriented, trauma-informed approach that weaves together parts-based therapy, somatic awareness, and an intuitive understanding of the relational and energetic dynamics that shape healing. She supports clients in moving beyond symptom management into a more direct relationship with themselves, working with the body, the psyche, and the deeper layers of consciousness to access meaningful and lasting change.

Therapy with Shannon is an intentional space to go deeper. To slow down, listen more closely, and engage with what is present beneath the surface.

Rather than focusing on fixing, this work honors the intelligence of your inner world, allowing what has been held or avoided to come into awareness.

Depression, anxiety, and trauma are approached as meaningful experiences that carry information and the potential for deeper understanding. Through a trauma-informed and awareness-based lens, all aspects of your experience are welcome.

This is not about becoming someone new.
It is about remembering and embodying more of who you are.

Individual, Couples & Relationship Therapy

Therapy with Shannon is available for individuals and couples who are ready to engage more deeply with the patterns shaping their lives, relationships, intimacy, and sense of self.

In couples and relationship sessions, Shannon supports partners in slowing down reactive cycles, listening beneath the surface, and exploring the places where conflict, disconnection, desire, protection, and longing intersect. This work is not about deciding who is right or wrong. It is about asking more honest questions, finding the in-between spaces, and bringing awareness to the blind spots that keep repeating.

Drawing from her experience as a Certified Sex Therapist, Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, and consciousness-informed facilitator, Shannon integrates somatic awareness, transpersonal inquiry, parts-based work, and conflict resolution techniques that honor both the self and the relationship.

Couples are supported in learning how to listen without immediately defending, speak without self-abandoning, and work with conflict as information rather than failure. Sessions may explore communication, intimacy, sexuality, nervous system patterns, emotional safety, resentment, repair, and the deeper unconscious dynamics that shape how partners relate.

This work invites each person to become more present, more honest, and more available for connection without losing themselves in the process.

My Story

Over the past two decades, I have followed a deep, personal inquiry into healing.

This path has taken me through meditation, somatic work, functional medicine, retreats, and consciousness-based practices. Not as a collection of techniques, but as a search for something more true. A different way of being with the mind, the body, and the deeper layers of experience.

This work is personal to me.

I have known what it feels like to move through periods of profound depression and anxiety. To feel disconnected from myself, and to question whether something more was truly possible.

And I have also experienced what it is to come through that. Not by forcing change, but by learning how to meet myself differently.

Alongside this lived experience, I continue to deepen my work through doctoral study in transpersonal psychology, speaking and presenting at conferences, and engaging in ongoing exploration at the edges of mental health, consciousness, and healing. I am not interested in staying within fixed frameworks. I am drawn to what stretches, challenges, and expands what we think is possible.

Transformation is not a concept. It is something I have lived.
And it is available.
